Legal Experience


Lina Boynovska is an accomplished lawyer with over 27 years of experience in immigration law, including immigrant and nonimmigrant visa applications, green cards based on employment or family petitions, deportation cases, consular processing and naturalization.


Lina represents both corporations and individuals. Representative clients include Zebra Technologies, Peoples Bank, Bulgarian rock group Stonehenge, Boban Markovic Orchestra, Good News Publishers/Crossway, Holy Trinity Church, and etc. She helped a renowned Russian figure skater receive a green card and citizenship in the US.

In other significant recent cases she obtained immigrant visas for a physical chemistry researcher (national interest waiver), manager of a British-Italian-US company (multinational manager), and represented many distinguished artists from Europe (extraordinary abilities). 

For several years now, Lina has been representing the US agents of entertainment groups like Modern Talking, Alphaville, Joy, Bad Boys Blue and Boney M regarding their petitions for work visas on behalf of the famous entertainers.


Prior to establishing her own law firm in 2002, Lina mastered the intricacies of immigration law while working as an associate with prominent Chicago immigration attorneys.

Background

Born in Bulgaria, Lina received a Baccalaureate degree from the Law Department of Sofia University Kliment Ohridski in 1992 and completed a judicial clerkship with Judge Fankova at the Ruse District Court. Upon immigrating to the USA, she completed a Juris Doctor degree at Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.

Lina is admitted to practice in Illinois (1997) and District of Columbia (1999). She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Languages


Fluent in Bulgarian and Russian. Conversant in Macedonian.
